Modifying the Boss DR-110



Clap Pitch

My absolute favorite mods for the DR-110 are the changes to the clap circuit.  The first of these mods is the Clap Pitch control.  Unfortunately I can't describe the sound of this mod... it's just great!   This is another simple change, and I opted for manual control only.

Remove R114 from the DR-110 voice board.  Attach two wires to the holes in the circuit board.  Wire a 50K linear pot to the two wires as shown.  Please note that one end of the pot is left unconnected.

Clap Decay

The second mod is the Clap Decay.   This is another great addition, allowing some really non-clap sounding noises.

Remove R113 from the DR-110 voice board.  Attach two wires to the holes in the circuit board.  Connect a 100K log taper pot to the two wires as shown in the diagram below.
